1. Interpreting
You can cancel or reschedule an interpreting booking free of charge up to 24 hours before the booked start. Within 24 hours of the start we charge 50% of the booked fee. If no one joins and we were not told, we charge the full fee. If we cannot provide an interpreter, we refund you in full.
2. Translation, transcription, subtitling and proofreading
You can cancel free of charge before we start. Once work has started, we charge for the work already done, calculated from the share of the order completed, and refund the rest. When your page, word or minute count turns out to differ from your order and you do not accept the new price, you can cancel free of charge.
3. Errors and complaints
If an error in the delivered work is ours, we correct it free of charge. Report it within 30 days of delivery to support@livetranslationservice.com with your order reference. If we cannot correct it, we refund the part of the price that relates to the error.
4. The right of withdrawal (consumers)
If you buy as a consumer, the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven) gives you 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving a reason. The period starts the day after the agreement is made. To withdraw, send a clear statement to support@livetranslationservice.com with your order reference. You may use the standard form from the Act, but you don't have to.
If you have asked us to start the work during the 14 days, you must pay for what we have already done when you withdraw. The right of withdrawal lapses once the service is fully performed, if you asked us to start within the period and confirmed that you understood this. Checkout asks you to confirm this.
5. How refunds are paid
We refund to the card or payment method you used, within 14 days of the day we received your withdrawal or confirmed your cancellation.
6. Posted and collected copies
If we post a hard copy and it is lost, we send a new one free of charge.
7. Business customers
The right of withdrawal does not apply to business customers. Sections 1 to 3 do.
