We are livetranslationservice, a translation and interpreting agency in Langesund, Telemark. We sell the work with the price on it, and we tell you what we cannot promise.
Who we are
We publish prices, because a price you cannot see is a question you have to ask.
livetranslationservice is based at Linaaes gate 2 in Langesund, in Bamble municipality in Telemark. You can call us, write to us, or visit the office during opening hours.
We translate documents and interpret conversations, in 24 languages. Most customers come to us with a document and a deadline. Many are people who have to hand a translation to an authority and don't know what that authority wants. We start there.
Everything on the site has a price, except conference interpreting, where the price depends on too many things to print.

How we work
- Two linguists. One translates, a second one checks it against the original.
- Terms first. For legal, technical and business work, we agree key terms before the long text and keep them for your next order.
- Authority first. Before you pay, we tell you what the receiving authority is likely to want, and whether you need a statsautorisert translator instead of us.
- Confidential. Files are handled only by the people on your job. NDA on request.
- Corrected, free. If we made the mistake, we fix it at no charge.

- Publish our prices, with MVA included
- Have two linguists on every translation
- Say, before you pay, if you need someone else
- Cancel interpreting for free up to 24 hours before
- Answer the phone during office hours
We don't show or claim, and why
- Customer reviews or ratings. We would rather show prices and process you can check.
- Client logos or customer counts. The same.
- A statsautorisert translator or interpreter title. We do not present our work as that, and say so when it matters.
- Quality certifications such as ISO. We do not hold any that we display.
- "Accepted everywhere". No agency can promise that.
